| The AutoXray AXR5000 EZ-SCAN 5000 OBD I & OBD II Code Scanner. The AutoXray EZ-Scan AXR5000 is an an OBD-I and OBD-II scanner which includes all OBD-II protocols, including the newly released Controller Area Network (CAN) protocol, allowing for more capability and flexibility to manage the diagnostic process. The CAN protocol is currently being used in a variety of vehicles and will be the mandated protocol in all new vehicles by 2008. This tool includes all the benefits of the EZ-SCAN AX4000 plus the added ability to scan OBD-I (1982-1995) vehicles. It displays on screen DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and code definitions for OBD-II generic codes, OBD-II manufacturer specific codes and upgradeable to display OBD-I codes. Supports multiple trouble code requests like generic codes, pending codes and enhanced codes.
