| -The patented technology of the KTI positioning sensor tool (p.s.t) eliminates the need to purchase multiple TPM tools. This tool accommodates both magnetically and electronically triggered tire pressure sensors.-KTIp.s.t. is equipped with a special sensor-triggering magnet as well as a frequency wave generator capable of transmitting a 125 KHz continuous wave and multiple formats of 125 KHz modulated waves. Both are designed to provide reliable tire sensor triggering.-The KTIp.s.t. features the additional capability of confirming the sensor transmission with the vehicle audibly and visually after a tire change or rotation. The visual diagnostic feature allows service establishments to test the TPM sensor prior to removing the wheel from the vehicle, thereby eliminating any responsibility for the cost of replacing a defective sensor which may have a cost in excess of 100 each. The KTIp.s.t.© is useful as a diagnostic tool for sorting and evaluating TPM sensors, which often look alike, but operate differently. You can be assured that you have the correct TPM sensors on the vehicle.-The KTIp.s.t.© has a hunting feature that automatically chooses the correct triggering protocol or it allows the user to manually select the desired protocol. The KTIp.s.t.© is digital and can be upgraded with new pulse modulated protocols as they become available in the future. The KTIp.s.t.© is cost effective and simple to use. It is designed to stand up to harsh shop environments and will resist numerous oils and fluids found in many shops.
